Nature in the sauna

Sauna lovers know all too well: a sauna without Aufguss is incomplete! Around the world, annual contests of aufguss and herbs are organised to promote the use of natural herbs in the sauna. Participating sauna masters use their knowledge of herbs to create fragrance and heat diffusion in the sauna, using natural herbs, essential oils, singing bowls and music. All this to make the sauna experience for guests as pleasant and efficient as possible. It is a treat for body and mind!

Would you also like to have such a unique sauna experience? Then come to our Herbal Days on Friday 26 and Saturday 27 May 2023. Four sauna masters from the Czech Republic will then be on hand to give you top herbal sessions and fragrance experiences! From 10am, you are welcome to join them and you can observe until 11.30am while they are busy with their scrub, tea, coffee and herbal preparations.

Jan Putera

During sauna sessions Jan specializes in work with herbs and other gifts of Nature. His approach is overall more mystical than usual. Main motive for his work as Sauna Master is seeing sauna in the ancient way – as a sacred place used by shamans for healing and curing.

Valerie Surovska

Being a sauna enthusiast since childhood, Valerie reached the point of crossing the river and becoming a Sauna master too. And since then, she is into even more. She won “Discovery of the year” prize on Czech Aufguss WM qualification SaunaFest 2022 and from this point she became more serious with her approach. She loves improvisation and bringing smiles on people’s faces.

Anna Pourová

If you combine music, dancing, and acting you will get Anna with her positive energy. She likes to play with wonderful smells and with a touch of her Slovakian temperament, you can experience unique aufguss with breathtaking atmosphere.

Sarah Matilda Rysková

Former professional ballet dancer loves sauna since childhood. However, when Sarah picked a towel for the first time, very strong friendship was formed. Her waving style is pure art as it is packed with dancing and emotions. On the other hand, she is master in beauty procedures as she loves homemade cosmetics and herbal products.
