The power of mantra chanting
Mantras already carry their own power within them. The term mantra comes from Sanskrit. [Man] It stands for “thinking” and [tra] for “liberating”: Singing mantra is liberating yourself from thoughts.
By rhythmically repeating a word or a proverb of a mantra, you set certain vibrations in your body produced by the sounds in motion. The vibrations generated by a mantra spread through your entire body. They flow to your heart, your liver, your kidneys; all organs are touched. Even emotions stored in the body can be vibrated loose and cleansed by a mantra. Thus, mantras can help you, for example, to learn to breathe again in a calm and conscious way or to breathe positivity, joy and inspiration into your system.
