Yule 'Return of the Light'

Rituals in the sauna

[vc_column_text el_id=”7-8oktober”]

Enter the realm of myth and mystery as we celebrate the Winter Solstice, the turning point of the year when Odin, the Sun God is reborn from the depths of darkness. This ancient night marks the triumph of light over shadow, a sacred moment when the forces of renewal stir deep within the earth and sky.

The Norns, the weavers of fate, are said to gather on these nights, casting their runes to foretell the year to come.

The sacred plants and herbs, known to our ancestors as the guardians of life, lend their essence to the steam, carrying prayers skyward to the gods. Each breath you take draws you closer to the natural rhythm of the seasons, aligning your spirit with the ancient cycles of death and rebirth.

You will journey to the heart of the darkness, a place of deep stillness where Odin rests. Here, you will offer your burdens to the flames, letting the weight of the past dissolve into ash. As the steam rises and the heat embraces you, feel the light returning to your soul, rekindling your inner fire.

This is not merely a sauna ritual—it is a rite of renewal, a celebration of the light that dwells within you and the world. Together, we will honor the gods, the spirits of the land, and the ancestors who walk with us, calling forth their blessings as we step into the promise of the new year.

Four sauna masters from Nordic Health & Living from Denmark will provide fragrance and heat diffusion in the sauna with their passion and herbal knowledge. This involves organic herbs, essential oils and live music. All this to make your sauna experience as special as possible. A benefit for mind, body and soul!
